Huizhou Kober Low-Carbon New Materials Co., Ltd.
Founded in Shenzhen in 2001, Huizhou Kober Low-Carbon New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kober") relocated its production base to Dongguan in 2006. In 2016, the company invested in and established Kober Thailand Production Base in Bangkok, Thailand. Over the past two decades, Kober has been dedicated to the R&D and production of environmentally friendly APET materials, with product lines covering various eco-friendly APET transparent sheets, colored sheets, functional sheets, as well as R-PET recyclable materials and PET decorative panels.
In 2019, in response to China's national "plastic restriction" policies, Kober expanded its footprint in the new environmental protection materials sector. The company collaborated with prestigious domestic universities including Nanjing University, Shandong University, and Fuzhou University to develop PLA fully degradable materials and bio-based degradable materials. In July 2020, a R&D center was set up in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Hainan Province. In September of the same year, a 10,000-square-meter factory was invested and constructed in Zhongkai High-Tech Zone, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, specialized in the production of Kober's PLA fully degradable materials, bio-based degradable materials and their finished products. Meanwhile, Huizhou Kober Low-Carbon New Materials Co., Ltd. was officially established.
As of 2021, Kober's three manufacturing facilities in Dongguan, Huizhou, and Thailand were equipped with 12 sheet production lines in total. The annual output of environmentally friendly APET materials, R-PET recyclable materials, PLA fully degradable materials, and bio-based degradable materials surpassed 25,000 tons. Currently, Kober holds ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification, and its products have passed the bio-based ASTM D6866 standard test, along with various other certifications such as RoHS, REACH, SGS, FDA, and QS.
